Simple Transfer - Transfer Issues

Transfering photos and videos between your iPhone, iPad and computer with Simple Transfer is extremely fast. If you experience slower transfer speed, please try the followings:

• Make sure your device(s) are close to the WiFi router and have a good WiFi connectivity
• If iCloud is enabled for Photos on your device, your photos and videos are probably saved on iCloud and do not exist on the device so they should be downloaded to your device first, meaning your device will need as much space and the Internet access.
• Turn off any streaming services like Skype, video stream etc. on your device and computer
• Transfer speed might drop significantly if you have computers/devices connected to the same WiFi network as your device and are downloading large files while photos/videos being transferred.

If you still have this issue, please try using USB transfer with the Desktop app. It usually doesn't have any network issues and is much faster than WiFi.

USB transfer is exactly the same as WiFi but you connect your iPhone to computer via USB cable. Then you should be able to see the device name on the Desktop app (it will show USB instead of WiFi under device name).
